IRIS integrated risk management at the Risk Management Congress, Dubai

Zurich, May 23, 2007 – IIR Middle East organizes the Risk Management Congress in Dubai. Andreas Jaek, IRIS integrated risk management’s VP Business Development, Head of Sales & Marketing will contribute to the Banking Risk Summit Day.

The Risk Management Congress will be held from May 27 to 31, 2007 at Dusit Dubai Hotel, Dubai, UAE. The region’s leading risk event for finance professionals will look into the latest methodological improvements and implementation techniques for best practice risk management and Basel II compliance.

On the first day, dedicated to investment banking risk, Andreas Jaek, VP Business Development, Head of Sales & Marketing from IRIS integrated risk management shall present his views on risk management in Islamic products, explaining the specialties of Basel II, market risk, credit risk and liquidity risk using examples of Murabahah and Ijarah contracts. This session is particularly interesting for Islamic banks.
